All you corrupt, mean spirited, hurtful, politically motivated people need to apologize to the Rich family. Now. https://t.co/OdPolGcUxS— Eric Holder (@EricHolder) July 9, 2019

Just thinking here, If Crowdstrike sent that intel to Wikileaks then attributed the hack to Russia knowing full well that Assange was going to release them which allowed Clinton to say that Trump was in bed with Russia. Then SethRich psyop allowed the story to go conspiracy theory.

The Bill Blinney theory explains nothing.
You can hack the emails then download them on a thumb drive and achieve the same transfer speeds.
The fact they are using the upload to wikileaks as the basis to construct that the DNC wasn't hacked proves nothing.
Is it possible they were leaked onto a thumb drive? Yes.
Is the theory conclusive to say that Russia didn't hack the DNC? Absolutely not.

You're right about this part, but please explain to me why world class hackers would use a known blacklisted IP address for their command-and-control server and hard code that into the malware. That's laughably amateur, while Russian hackers are notoriously exceptional.

Who said they are exceptional?
Two Russian agencies planted malware on the same targets without knowing.

I've worked in tech for decades. Russians are frequently the best in the world. The explanation I've been given is that, in the US, programmers learn to write code, but have time to debug it, so they're used to making errors.
In the Soviet Union, there were lots of programmers, but they had to share access to actual computers, so they had to learn to debug code by reading it, not by running it, letting it crash, and finding the bugs.
It enforced a degree of rigor and discipline that Western programmers generally lack. The new generation in Russia is learning from that generation, but the culture of coding there is still the same, and, in my experience, it's highly evident in the quality of their output.
It's a shame their talents are often wasted on hacking and black market activities, but there's no shortage of incredibly talented programmers in Russia, and I'm certain their intelligence agencies can recruit that talent.

That sounds in line with the LURK hacks if you are familiar.

There's a ton of illegal hacking and other black market tech activity coming out of Russia. It's probably a meaningful part of their economy. But, the fact there are lots of Russian hackers doesn't mean some third rate hack on the DNC was done by Russians.

I mean the main point of my original tweet was that there is nothing conclusive about the DNC hack yet and the BB theory doesn't prove anything.
Thank you so much NIKK. Like I said, this whole new theory sounds like BS to me. Why now? Wheres the proof? Why is Eric Holder latching on to it so quickly? Lots of questions.
