I'm trying to remember what parade we marched in in IN. Back then our high school band had I believe 126 band members. We were so large we had a flag team and 9 majorettes from the band. And we played during a half time at Indiana University on the day of the Little 500. Lots of fun. Kids started playing in the 4th grade and was very good by high school.

Holding flags of the states. Then a group carrying a very large flag and people yelling...USA!.....Stream buffing.....came back on thankfully.

I’m enjoying it all. Just because the various groups seem so proud to be apart. My favorite so far was near the front A dozen plus cheer leaders with their Pom poms chanting. “We’re in D.C.”
Pictured we freepers doing that if we were a little younger
And the Vietnamese group float with “I’m proud to be an American. Won’t forget the men who died .... really choked me up.
It’s a very yuge “small town”. Parade!
