Good grief! This is insanely idiotic! People illegally invading a country are being compared to the slaughter of Jews by Nazi Germany!?

These leftists are off their rockers - sadly, feeble minded followers swallow anything they say.

A propos of nothing, I was pondering a conversation I had last night with a friend who was mad about the proposal to forgive college debt, her son and wife having worked hard and being nearly out from under a $180K debt.

Apart from how this punishes people who have worked hard and played by the rules, it has suddenly hit me that college tuition will necessarily skyrocket. NOBODY will be able to afford college without a huge debt and then be at government mercy to get them out. Colleges are in business to make money ... and by government paying the tuition debt for everyone, colleges have no gating factor on what they can charge. Of course, ultimately, it means severe rationing since we cannot afford to pay $500K, $1M, whatever, for tuition for everyone who wants to go to college.

I guess that's part of the plan, since it will necessitate government taking over colleges to ‘control prices.’ I know, I've confessed before that I'm slow on the uptake. The government simply has to get completely out of this loan business. It's awful, awful, awful.
