Back from grocery shopping. Big benefit this Saturday for a dear friend who has kidney disease. Hubby will be leaving for the Legion on Saturday about 1 am to cook a whole pig (170 pounds) for the benefit.

** Unfortunately, Turkey’s decision to purchase Russian S-400 air defense systems renders its continued involvement with the F-35 impossible. The F-35 cannot coexist with a Russian intelligence collection platform that will be used to learn about its advanced capabilities. The United States has been actively working with Turkey to provide air defense solutions to meet its legitimate air defense needs, and this Administration has made multiple offers to move Turkey to the front of the line to receive the U.S. PATRIOT air defense system. Turkey has been a longstanding and trusted partner and NATO Ally for over 65 years, but accepting the S-400 undermines the commitments all NATO Allies made to each other to move away from Russian systems. This will have detrimental impacts on Turkish interoperability with the Alliance. The United States still greatly values our strategic relationship with Turkey. As NATO Allies, our relationship is multi-layered, and not solely focused on the F-35.
Our military-to-military relationship is strong, and we will continue to cooperate with Turkey extensively, mindful of constraints due to the presence of the S-400 system in Turkey.

Had a very bad experience at Dr office this morning and drove through McD for a Diet Coke after.
The clerk was so sweet and cheery. I made a comment about the day being bad —hoping it didn’t get worse. Thru her fake smile she said she had just been sworn at in “second language”. My comment “time to send them home to where they came from!” We had quite a pep rally for Donald J Trump right there in the McDonald drive thru! Another one fed up and working hard to get DJT re elected !

(I’m not Catholic, but I always had respect for the Church and mean no insult.)
A few years ago, my grand daughter’s appearance kept getting worse looking. Dark under her eyes, bad skin color, and always tired. Then I noticed she was always eating ice. So I asked her if she craved ice or just liked eating it because there were no calories. She said she craved it. I bought her some vitamins with some iron and told her parents they needed to take her to the doctor because she had anemia.
Well, one day her mom was at work and asked me if I could take her to the doctor because she was sick, probably flu. I asked her if I could have him check for anemia while we were there, she said ok. They gave her emergency transfusions, she was in bad shape, from anemia. That’s why she was so sick that day.
