Tenths of what? I've heard this about Michigan before (oddly enough, from some musician, from the stage, and he was from the real pool table, Indiana) and been puzzled by it. It isn't a mountain range, lots of flat *spots* that were formerly glacial meltwater late beds (the muck farms are found there now), but is hilly.
