For the knitters and crocheters:

We are banning support of Donald Trump and his administration on Ravelry. We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. More details: https://t.co/hEyu9LjqXa— Ravelry (@ravelry) June 23, 2019

Yet their twitter profile says: "Inclusive, friendly website for 🧶 people around the 🌏."

I've had an account there for many years, probably close to 15. I mainly crochet, but I knit a little. Knitting a pair of socks was on my bucket list, and I found a great heel pattern on the site that I love. (And I knitted my first pair a couple of years ago!) I never commented or wrote anything at the site, so it doesn't affect me in that way. Anyway, just bummed about this. *sigh*

Same here. I loved Ravelry. If you ask me - this stuff is an example of Clinical Insanity! I just permanently deleted my account at Ravelry - as I had to do at Pinterest not too long ago for categorizing a Pro-Life site as "porn". I seriously hate these people!

I can see why they did it. Can’t have people out there knitting MAGA hats and MAGA scarves and MAGA sweaters and MAGA socks and giving’em all away as gifts and esp. posting images of them on their site. It’s deeply problematic.
