I don’t see this happening, as so many “average” Americans are now on the left. The 2018 House elections were eye-awakening.
Well, I’ll keep fighting until the streets are on fire then I will be grabbing my bug out bag and getting out of the country before the kill squads start up.
We had 40 House Republicans (never Trumpers) suddenly decide to retire before their local Republican parties had time to find, vet and promote new primary candidates. With that said, we only lost 38 seats so it was actually a net gain of 2, since the retiring Republicans were all RINOs.
But it’s great theater and will help to catch the Dems off guard as they really think they are much more beloved than they are. We’ll see what happens when there are Republican challengers for those seats and riding DJT’s coat tails during a rip roaring Presidential campaign. I think it’s going to be a hoot.
