This is based on a University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine study. Healthcare and the health of Americans are a major economic factors in America and hence a concern of anyone in the investment business.
Type 2 diabetes is an epidemic in America these days and has huge implications for the economy. What is interesting is that it is a disease for which solutions (diet and exercise) are readily and easily available yet those who have it prefer to treat it rather than cure it.
