We all know from our economics courses that an increase in supply of Labor puts downward pressure on wages.
Could it be said that having women in the workforce, by increasing the supply of labor, in part, created the conditions that required two salaries, because of the impact on wages?
Are we referring to females/women in the work force or mothers in the work force?
