If the collector included earth and plan remains along with the head they could do Carbon 14. Any other ideas?
The head itself can be RC dated; it’s likely that usable DNA can be found as well, should be interesting.
The wolf head is currently polling sixth for the Democrat Presidential nomination, just ahead of Beto.

What is RC dating? Also how would the DNA test work. Is there a known rate of change in Mitochondrial DNA over time?
RC=radiocarbon dating. The rates of change are estimates based on segments of modern DNA that show up in unchanged form in very old samples; that’s the way posited splits in the evo tree are assigned lengths of time.
I have heard this happens to seminarians fairly often. However, after having invested so much time, money, and emotion in the training venture, some just fake it and go on to serve in the ministry. Since the goal for many is to served the suffering and preach good works, they manage to live their internal conflict successfully.
