I guess self-centered is when Donald Trump was tired of the Central Park ice skating area stood in horrible shape because of all the battles about cost/who would do the job/why is it needed/etc. He stepped up and re-built the skating area cost free..saying he wanted his children and his grand children to have a place to skate. I guess he did this because he wanted it himself?..lol

Exactly!! Or that time he gave up his entire cushy lifestyle and took on the YUGE burden of fixing his beloved country, not even taking a salary, at immense cost to himself and his family. THAT’S a story I wanted to remind her about, it’s still sitting there in my throat, unspoken to her and the other friend who shushed us up. I’m half mad at myself for being so obedient.
