I didn’t think about that, but the picture with her wearing that, taken with the President and service members close around them, was a beautiful contrast in color, in my opinion.

I had thought it was a bit gawdy and out of character until scimming back through today’s pictures realized how much it resembles the color and marking of KOI. If we had any experts of the KOI fish here they could probably tell us the significance of each pattern woven into the material. No doubt good fortune, health etc. it’s quite involved iirc.
