Just returned from a Western Caribbean cruise with my daughter. On the first morning we got up before sunrise, as is our cruising custom, for coffee and a walk along the upper decks when no one is there. To take in the ship and check things out. She’s looking out and asks me what is that boat out there and I see it is a lit up shrimp boat or something similar perhaps 8 - 10 miles out. Then, about 10 degrees to the north of the boat was a solid red light above the water. It was closer than the ship. It was zipping around in the sky, staying around the same height, maybe 500’ - 1000’ above the water. Just darting around, back and forth. She’d never seen a UFO so it was neat for her.
That was a red light atop a mast of a boat over the horizon, swaying with the waves.
Most people haven’t seen a ufo. It’s always neat.Most of the bases worldwide are undersea which is why the navy heads up all things ufo.
