Netflix charges every month. It's a subscription service. I have installed 2 Rokus and was not asked for a credit card either time *just to set up the Roku.*

Having said that, I just canceled Netflix after Obama and Big Mike joined the board of directors. There are plenty of other subscription services, Hulu, etc., along with many free channels you can access through the Roku device.

I dropped Netflix after the Obama and his beard were signed by Netflix.

I have several Rokus with no problems. Also have an Amazon box and an Apple box. I like Roku the best because they seem to keep track of what the viewer is watching and where they are in it better than the other ones. I also prefer the controller to the others.

I wholeheartedly agree. There has to be a better option for this young lady that is not costly and doesn't have trashy or a skewed to the left viewing influence.
