761,000 viewers equals approximately 15,220 viewers per state. I’m tellin’ ya boss, they are NOT making money from the consumers who buy from the advertisers. NOT POSSIBLE!

They’re being compensated by the government. It’s been going on for years.

They do not care about ratings. They have a mission. They provide biased leads for everyone else. It’s a constant that you will hear a BS fake news story from MSM that begins with “CNN reported today that...”. Then of course there are the CNN splash screens that spread lies to every airport, effective even with no sound.

CNN is an instrument of influence more than a business.
It dominates foreign views of the US for instance, as the standard international source for US news and opinion.

Ultimately it belongs to AT&T, and one must go there to ask why they maintain it, with such an editorial line. It serves someones interests of course, but what these are and who it serves is unclear. We can guess, but we can’t know for sure without someone senior breaking omerta.

Note that several large enterprises own such leftist media entities, or are closely associated with them. In part I think it is a form of protection-money paid to the bureaucratic system. Carlos Slim to the NYT for instance. He does not care about politics at all, other than to keep the rules working his way.

761,000 viewers equals approximately 15,220 viewers per state.

That's with all the states counted. Likely, most of their viewers are in California and NY and a few other liberal states. In the red states, they probably average less than 100 per state.

It’s worse than that. They get paid by their advertisers for the numbers of people they “reach.” So as their viewership declines, so does their ad revenue. Advertisers will go elsewhere to place ads where there are more viewers, like Fox. But have you noticed that Fox has the prescription drug business about sewed up?

Wonder how airport prisoners are factored into the ratings because there is no choice?
