Most likely the death was not caused by the mini-bar. Correlation is not causation. My guess is a bad batch of recreational drugs being sold by resort personnel.

They had just arrived and checked into the room. The first thing the woman did was have a drink from the minibar. I don't think they had time to locate the local drug dealer.

am I the only one in the world that doesn’t use “recreational drugs”???......is this the new expected behavior nowadays to go on vacation and use drugs?......
