I kind of envy you for being able to go for so long and not know this is the way it’s been since Obamacare went into effect. If you just got laid off go for COBRA.

Then a friend of mine recently got a hernia lifting something, really BAD one where his intestines pushed out, and guess what? No insurance so he is utterly screwed so I said I better buy some, but oops! Not allowed!
