The irony of the day is that earlier today I read something about her taking issue with being portrayed as stupid, or slightly less insultingly: not intelligent. Then something like this comes out and you wonder just what is she basing her argument on? What evidence can she provide that she is even of average intelligence? Because by all public accounts, I'd rate her as "ditzy" in a semi-comical way. More seriously, I am convinced she is well below average in the IQ department.
I believe you could say that about most of Congress.
In fact, can you think of any truly smart, intelligent people who would want the job?
