We should have seen it coming in the 1960’s. Well perhaps we did see it coming but realized that it was going to be inevitable. The course correction needed back then would have been pretty much unacceptable to everybody.

You’re right - we did see it and spent many evening hours with neighbors and friends over coffee deliberating the future of the country which also included watching our Governor Ronald Reagan taking on the pukes with us cheering him on.
