I doubt Taylor even caught it. President Trump would not sign the bill because he said it contained too many "poison pills." This was exactly what he was talking about.
Conservatives had better be paying attention to any LGBT legislation with the term "conversion therapy" included. This will be used against parents, mark my words, when they try to reason with their gender and sexual identity-confused children. They're already pulling this crap in Canada where parents are finding themselves in violation of the law.
“Conversion therapy” isn’t about therapy in any traditional sense of the word. This is how it sneaks under the radar. It is a total usurpation of parental rights. Little Johnny comes home from school and says he wants to be a girl, his parents will be breaking the law if they tell him no and the State will take away their kids.
Taylor Swift can write all the letters she wants. She doesn't have children and is on her way towards a future as a very wealthy cat lady. This bill is the most dangerous intrusion into parental rights that we've ever seen. God help us if it ever becomes law.
