Well, assuming for the moment that this isn’t a glitch caused by the computers involved, and that this isn’t some black government program with hyper-advanced aircraft of some type (IOW, it is sentient aliens), then how do we know that they aren’t watching and testing US and OUR systems?

HOWEVER, I concur 100% with Alas Babylon (great book, btw) when he said:

The vids from 2004 look more like an internal camera problem to me. Condensation/dirt between lenses. Especially in the second vid where the accelerations occur during zoom changes.

That one looks like a cruise missile to me, but in that case the pilots would know they were conducting a test. So if the context of the vid is that the navy put it out as a bona fide example of a UFO as opposed to someone just posting a test vid and simply claiming it’s a UFO as a joke, I have no other explanation.
