Not mad & I did read your post. I was maybe vaguely aware of the whole la Croix thing. All I’m saying is that you have friends who care & they might be clueless in the food & drink department, but they meant well.

Something you may like is Celestial Seasonings raspberry zinger sun tea. Put 2 tea bags in a quart of water & leave in the sun for a few hours. So refreshing!

They are awesome. I just always marvel at how even when you tell Americans that processed food is poison they won’t get it. My friends have had brain tumors, thyroid tumors, kids with ADHD etc. they ask my advice and totally ignore the food aspect. They trust the food industry.

Here’s an item that just got posted on FR

My point- Americans eat poison in processed food

They trust the FDA and also the food companies to keep them safe

There is no reason for them to do that.

This article from the Brits describes one situation
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/28/bread-additives-chemicals-us-toxic-america

I spent four years. In Germany. Never had a headache

Was in country deployed for about a year. We ate local food for a month - it was great before the US - I guess army- food guys showed up with the American processed ‘food’. Nothing but headaches migraines anxiety fatigue.

No one believes me. They just eat crap and suffer from cancer, hypertension, diabetes with no correlation
