"He is either on the RC altar or not. "

He is.

"He is being represented as a sacrifice or not in Roman Catholicism."

He is.

"It is being repeated or it isn't."

It's not. It is happening eternally in Heaven. And we are praying with Heaven in the Divine Liturgy.

Use your concordance and check out the use of the word "altar" in Revelation. And what does an Eternal High Priest do on an Eternal Altar? An Eternal Sacrifice.

Once in time; and eternally when you are beyond time...

It's that cut and dry.

I believe AMPU has already addressed the question of the altar in Revelation.

If He's on the altar it goes against Scripture.

If He's on the altar it's happening....on the altar...again and again and again as a RC priest acknowledges.

The whole thing is against what is described in Hebrews.

If He’s on the altar, and He’s being offered again and again, as per your priests writings, then it IS being repeated because Christ’s sacrifice NEVER happened in heaven and it’s not happening there now.

God does not need Jesus to be constantly dying for our sins to be forever forgiven. The one time death of Jesus on the cross was enough and Jesus verified it when He said *IT is FINISHED* and died, and God proved that He accepted the FINISHED work by raising Christ from the dead.

The resurrection was proof that the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for the atonement was adequate and over and now they could move on.

You exhibit day after day that you do not know The Risen Lord Christ. You cannot eat His actual flesh and you cannot consume His actual blood. But your 'other religion' (as Paul identified yours even before the 'traditions' created your religion) is anathema to the Gospel ogf God's Grace. The demonic influence in your religion keeps you locked int he carnal, all the while imagining that yuou are 'enlightened'.

Don't take the mark as easily as you blaspheme the Blood of the Savior which was sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat ONCE For All, For all time. Your priests are dead soul pagan officials. We have a couple or three who occasionally post on these threads, and they are as dead soul clueless as you show yourself to be.

The soul is mind, emotion and will. With the mind a person can believe anything. But whent he will is focused upon God's Grace, salvation comes with the asking for His deliverance from what you are. When that salvation happens it is GOD Who puts HIS Holy Spirit seal upon the spirit come alive in Christ. Catholiciism is a religion focused upon death yet The Lord Christ is Risen and will never die again. You cannot get His Holy Spirit Life into your human spirit by eating a offered wafer some dead soul tells you is the real flesh and blood of The Lord Christ. Christ draws life from the Spirit, not the blood. Life is in the blood of THE CREATED CREATURES. JESUS is no longer a creature, He is The Risen Lord Christ, not a snack for pagan altars.

Maybe what is cut and dried is that the RESULT of the once-for-all sacrifice is what the altar in heaven represents. So, rather than the sacrifice being eternally offered by the eternal high priest, it is the benefit of it for all time for all those who are redeemed by it that is eternal. Scripture clearly teaches when Jesus offered His blood upon the mercy seat in heaven and it was accepted, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High. He is a completely different Priest so His sacrifice is different, also:

Now there have been many other priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office. But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly befits us—One who is holy, innocent, undefiled, set apart from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. Unlike the other high priests, He does not need to offer daily sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people; He sacrificed for sin once for all when He offered up Himself. For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. (Hebrews 7:23-28)

For Christ did not enter a man-made copy of the true sanctuary, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear on our behalf in the presence of God. Nor did He enter heaven to offer Himself again and again, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Otherwise, Christ would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But now He has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment, so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him. (Hebrews 9:24-28)
