Fake news.

The pilots never saw anything, their NEW radar presented an unusual display/image that could not be verified visually.

Most likely a glitch in the system. Many such reports, all with the NEW radar system, none with other model radar systems, or the systems on board the carriers.

You should contact the USS Roosevelt IMMEDIATELY and advise them accordingly.

To think these well-trained radar operators and pilots wouldn't know as much as a Monday morning Freeper about such matters.;-)
