I visited Bletchley Park back in August of 2007. That was before they had decided to restore it. Back then, they had a big room filled with a private collection of Churchill memorabilia. It was fascinating to walk through the aisles, and see all the stuff. If I remember correctly, the collection was owned by Jack Darrah. When new management moved in, the new director nixed the collection, saying that the wartime Prime Minister "is not synonymous with code-breakers' work." Whatever happened to the collection is unknown.

We visited two years ago; we didn’t see a Churchill exhibition. We did the Churchill war rooms- both great.
