Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and historical nonfiction writer Tony Horwitz died Monday at the age of 60. He was the author of numerous books, including ‘Confederates in the Attic’ and the recently published ‘Spying on the South.’
On May 27, 2019, Horwitz collapsed while walking in Chevy Chase, Maryland; he was taken to George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he was declared dead. He was in the midst of a book tour for Spying on the South
