The Gateway Pundit headline was VERY MISLEADING. (I think we've seen this before.)
Sweeney said in the interview that the laptop was "Mirrored" immediately--standard procedure--and that it was the MIRROR which agents used for analysis.
He said he assumed the "Mirror" had been retained.
Not to quibble, but I would think the original would be retained, and the mirror inspected.
I seem to remember a post from NYPD that they were so disgusted at what they saw on that laptop they made a copy so it could not be destroyed.
