Attorney General Barr Senate Testimony starting at 29:00

When we first heard that the SC decision not to decide the obstruction issue at the March 5th meeting... SC Mueller stated 3 times to us in that meeting, in response to our questioning that he was emphatically not saying that, but for the OLC opinion he would have found obstruction.

Charging the President was not an option we could consider... Volume 2 introduction... It explains that under long standing department policy, a president cannot be charged with a federal crime while he is in office

Somebody is telling us a bald faced lie. IMO Mueller has stated he will not comment further except for what's in the report so he doesn't have to lie under oath or throw Barr under the bus.

Either Mueller lied in his statement yesterday or Barr lied before Congress.

It also makes me wonder why Barr brought it up when it seems very clear in the Volume 2 introduction that he did consider the OLC policy statement.
