I am so sorry for all the illness I see reported. NIKK. I esp worry about you. Not sure all that is going on but I think it is deeper than you share. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I too have just felt crappty the past days (weeks, months?).. between the anemia, shingles neuralgia, back issues, allergies and just in general being old, things are not too great. I miss having wifi without a lot of effort. On Thursday I never left my property. Just actually stayed in van and slept most of time. I did wake up and play on FB a bit but then feel guilty as I am eating up my brother’s data program. I spent last night here at Jens. Cooked her Missississippi pot roast and mashed potatoes, which she liked. I made separate carrots and had some mashed potatoes.. that was plenty. My appetite is about non existent any more it seems
I did something interesting with the carrots. I love to experiment. they were the top on.. I scrubbed, peeled and did planks. par cooked them. then sautéed about 1/4 cup onions and thin slices of dried apricots in butter. added some seasoned salt and put on carrots. really good. Jenny had a wine paring platter and included with the 4 cheeses was the apricot and almond mixture.
