Pres says he has declassified "potentially millions of pages of documents," so Atty Gen Barr can get to the bottom of the Russia allegations. "Our Attorney General is in charge," said @POTUS, "let's see what he can find out." Says Barr can make the declassified pages public.

As for his criticism and ridicule of @SpeakerPelosi, @POTUS said she said terrible things about him and "I just responded in kind." Still says Pelosi not helping and Democrats are obstructionist. All they want to do is investigate, and re-do the Mueller probe, he said.

"I can work with the Speaker," said Pres, despite their mutual criticism. Said he can "absolutely work" with her. But he said he wants Democrats to stop trying to "re-do" the Mueller investigation because they didn't like it's outcome.

Air Force One wheels up from @Andrews_JBA on trip to Japan where Pres Trump will be first foreign leader to meet with newly enthroned Emperor Naruhito. It's a 6,700 mile flight. It's @POTUS' 12th foreign trip and 2nd to Japan. He has been to 21 nations so far as Pres.

On sending more troops to Middle East, Pres says he thinks it'll be good for the region. Thinks Iran is changing its behavior. "I don't think Iran wants to fight," he said, and he especially doesn't think Iran wants to fight the U.S.

"I don't care about payback," says Pres Trump of granting authorities to Atty Gen Barr to help him investigate how the Russia collusion allegations originated. This is about finding out what happened, says @POTUS. Again calls it an attempted takedown of the president.

Pres Trump says he hasn't made any decisions on granting pardons to military personnel charged with crimes. Says he may wait until after the soldiers are tried before deciding on executive clemency.

Asked about British PM's announcement that she'll resign June 7, Pres Trump expressed sorrow. “I feel badly for Theresa, I like her very much.” He said he'll be seeing @theresa_may on his State Visit to UK on Juce 3-5.
