In my earliest years, we lived in UT and we had so many fruit trees, plum, peach, apricot, 2 kinds of apples, green and concord grapes, yum!

We were spoiled.....

Moved to Albuquerque, no fruit trees but dad did grow a nice garden.

We got our fruit from the store and my mom would lament at how small and poor quality everything was.

I know the feeling. When we had fruit and nut trees in the yard it was in California. Now most of the fruits and nuts there are not the edible kind.
