Pick pink like Melania in a gown by J. Mendel
$4490

J. Mendel feather embroidered caftan

Take a closer look...

Melania joined the President for a banquet dinner at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, and she didn’t disappoint the fashion gods as she showed up in a pale pink chiffon gown.

The First Lady donned a beautiful pale pink caftan dress with cape-style sleeves that billowed to the floor. The dress was crafted with feather embroidery and included an embellished neckline that added a gorgeous detail to the J.Mendel maxi gown. This was a surprising pick by the First Lady, but she certainly chose well!

Pale pink is a perfect choice for spring if you’re opting for a feminine look. While Melania’s J. Mendel dress is currently sold out, you can take a closer look at the details by clicking right. Pick up your own pink embellished gown by shopping the carousel to your right. With wedding season in full force, why not show off in one of these delicate gowns?

We used to call that pale pink, shell pink or pearl pink. Both terms would be appropriate for Japan and their well known pearl industry. She chose well another tribute gown for host country.

THank you so much Tweety..I really like reading about Melania's decisions on clothes choices. I've always wondered if her mother gives her opinions to her.
