I concur - but how early? I was curious when he was nominated what his standing was. It has seemed to me that POTUS may have put DS prone types in such positions where they’d be monitored, etc.. But DNI seems a risky slot for such ... though maybe imperative given the roles of Clapper + Brennan.
I agree but maybe some of that risk was mitigated because Patriots had control of NSA.
