I doubt the Dems can now wait for 2020 - they must get rid of AG Wm Barr as quickly as possible. All their seditious, treasonable conspiracy is in danger of being flushed into court and into the public domain. The only way to legally get rid of Barr is to occupy the Oval Office.
Did you see Cong. Jim Jordan on Hannity tonight saying that the House Dems have a host of secret memos on how to go about getting rid of Trump - a coordinated effort? Jordan or Mark Meadows mentioned that material is about to be released implicating Adam Schiff in ??? The House Dems have no plans to compile legislation; their 100% effort is in getting rid of Trump... that alone indicates that they are not looking forward to 2020.
Unless they can leverage VP Pence in a big way, they must get a Dem in the Oval Office legally and soon. Their best chance is HRC, who won the popular vote but lost the WH because of that archaic dinosaur: the Electoral College.
By subpoena-ing everyone including Trump's cobbler, and knowing he will block their pointless investigations, the Dems can, with the help of a criminal MSM, scream coverup and obstruction of justice, thus presenting (in their fevered minds) a picture of a diabolical criminal President who will break all the rules to keep the truth from being revealed. THEREFORE, there is no choice but to remove him from office and put the rightful POTUS in position: Honest Hillary.
