I bought, within weeks of the brand debuting and off the showroom floor a ‘64 Malibu SS. Paid sticker. $3290.
Yup, there been some industrial grade inflation.

My FIL made 2.48 per hour at Boeing in 1957.
I found his wage statement for a pay period 1957.

Electrician.
He spent 40 years wiring up cabins on aircraft.
I don’t think that he worked on any of the more critical areas.

(That’s a good thing)
