My mom had a ‘65 Galaxie 500 XL convertible and won’t let anyone forget it. Especially not dad who sent it to the junkyard.

Never mind it’s not the hot commodity that ‘62-‘64 is but I personally think it’s much handsomer.

That so happened to me. !! My Dad gave me the most beautiful white refurbished 1947 2-door Ford when I graduated high school in 1963, and my husband sold it for $75 after we married in 1967 cuz he couldn’t figure out he stick shift!!! I STILL miss that car!!!

recently sold a 289 500XL drop top.

Barn fresh, we got it going and made a driver out of it.

we got way way way more than we expected for it.

My uncle had a mint condition 67 Chevelle SS in the early 80s.

He kept it a couple of years, sold the work of art, and apparently doesn’t miss it.
