“Dont throw me in that brier patch.”
Gun owners in CA, NY, NJ, CT, IL etc would take Swiss law in a heartbeat.
Theyre not as gun friendly as you might think. Their population is largely European.
Sounds like Merkel might have to dust off the plans for Operation Tannenbaum. I wonder if Rommel is still available.

Demographics and attitude.
The EU needs Switzerland far more than Switzerland needs the EU.
Not just no, but Hell no!
If the Swiss vote for these restrictions, it will just be the beginning. The EU will not rest until they are disarmed.
Switzerland has done very well with decentralized defense. They have maintained their independence and neutrality as the rest of Europe has torn itself to pieces, over and over again. Why would the Swiss want to jump aboard that Crazy Train?
A little inconvenience at the border is a small price to pay to maintain control of your own country. In fact, given what is happening in the rest of Europe, a little border control is probably a good thing.
"We'll shoot twice and go home "
OK, what is the angled piece by Her left eye ? Is it like a blinder for horses ? Equineing Inquiring mindless wants to know.
It looks like a flip down eye patch. Lot’s of competitive shooters will patch one eye...usually the bad one...I did when competing on Air Force teams.
yup... flips down and blinds one eye so you can shoot with both eyes open and no strain from squinting
lotta times they use side blinder as well
OK, Thank Y’All. I mostly shoot privately so haven’t seen one of them. Only been to 1 Public Range near San Antonio.
As someone else noted it’s so you don’t have keep the eye shut and avoid that strain. I’m right handed and actually patched my good left eye forcing bad right eye to do more work, Over time, right eye improved somewhat from so doing.
i used to shoot High Power in a past lifetime, now i’m 30% blind(glaucoma) in my non-dominant eye but can “almost” get 20/20 corrected in my dominant eye and can’t wear contacts so i’ve been out of it for a looong time
I’d have to patch both eyes. I use both to try and add up to one good eye.
doesn’t work for glaucoma
Oh, well don’t I feel stupid...
why??? i ask my doc if it would work and he told me no. so i dint know either
