Roquefort is a type of blue cheese. They weren’t lying, just not as specific as they might have been (if they knew it was Roquefort).

Yes it is. The FDA has stated they must be listed by name Blue Cheese, Roquefort, Gorgonzola and Stilton cheese. Some of the cheeses have higher mold contant than others, thus the seperate listings.
