Watching, listening to media this morning, I find it HILARIOUS that the journalists who have ignored, by and large, the post-2016 election skyrocketing stock market and RECORD low unemployment.
This morning, "news" is trying to frighten me with the Dow Jones dip.
Anyone else notice the same thing?
The media hates you as it hates this country.
Aye Ken, and we must never forget this.
Yep. As long as my portfolio keeps not losing money I will ignore it though, keeps my stress level down. :)
Well, the media has done a masterful job of not reporting the booming national debt. They certainly have been kicking the can down the road on that one for years.
The Dow-Jones Index is something of a “trailing indicator”, in that it responds to various news stories, not with logic, but with a great deal of emotion. Elation, up, gloom, down.
“Depression” applies to several different things, you know.
When it goes down, they ALWAYS attribute it to something detrimental to Republicans.
In a few days it will go up again, and they will not bother to tell the public that investors were waiting to see what happened and have now got their confidence back.
Furthermore, the DOW and other indexes are nothing but the latest price of actual transactions. A drop of 100 points does not mean that stocks have lost their value. Their value will be determined at the next completed transaction.
They still have a year to tank the economy to help whatever Leftwing dipshit the DNC runs.
The most insidious power the media has is the power to ignore. - Chris Plante
The liberal press is sooooooo happy when they think the country is failing. Bunch of sickos...
In other news:
Go get a 5 year chart for the DOW. Scroll to Jan 20 2017.
The DOW was about 19.800 on President Trump’s Inauguration.
Today, 26,500
So the DOW is up roughly 6.700 pts since President Trump took office.
USA media is simply An Enemy Of The People.
Agree they are seldom right about anything, play guessing game and lets try this.
