I studied under a Jewish expert on constitutions. He drafted many Third World constitutions. Because of the Jewish disaster under Hitler, he included a provision outlawing any party which promotes ideas inconsistent with the rights granted in the constitution.
Again and again dictators came to power and used his provision to outlaw the opposition.

Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.Perhaps the error is putting it in the constitution instead of in legislation. Not that it has ever been put into legislation in the USA, of course.
