Thanks for the suggestion, petey. I don't tolerate NSAIDS very well, and my surgeon seems to think it might interfere with wound healing - they act as blood thinners.

I know what you mean about post-surgery comments. My son is a nurse and he said the same thing about writing a book with all the funny comments they have heard.

Prior to my last surgery, I asked hubby to have a fountain Dr. Pepper with lots of ice for me in recovery.

According to both hubby and my surgeon, during post-op office visit, I nixed the DP and emphatically stated I preferred a beer and onion rings from Sonic.

I have absolutely no recollection! BWAHAHAHA!!!
