I had a friend whose hubby decided that an RV trip, out west, was just what the family needed.
So, they rented the biggest beast they could find, loaded up the kiddos....and groceries, and off they went.
She said it was NOT a good time....too close quarters (for their family) and....she hated having to cook almost every meal.
But...the worst part, she said, was....having to sweep the dang thing out, twice a day!! LOL.
The sleeper car, in a train, sounds devine.
Reminiscent of a bygone era.
The porter made their beds up daily and even brought morning coffee/light breakfast so the could stay in Jammies. Would love to do some Train traveling. The Spirit of New Orleans was once on bucket list. Study of jazz from Chicago ,Memphis to NOLA.
