Yes....the Panhandle area beaches (of Alabama and FL) have beautiful, WHITE beach sand.
I remember the beach sand in CA being tan colored. Pretty, but, to me those white beaches of the Gulf Coast are absolutely gorgeous.
Too bad Galveston didn’t get those white sandy beaches :(
Galveston has tan/brown sand and tar balls. Whaaaah.
They women/friends since grade school group that goes down have reported repeatedly what a good package deal they get. There are 4-8 that go at a time. One group started it and now there are at least three different classes that meet there. Friends travel from Florida, Louisiana and Texas to meet up with the Indiana group.
