Yes....Gulf Shores. We have friends who go there, every summer.
We used to go to Destin, but haven’t been since kids were young.

The twins were adopted. Both dad and grandpa were local judges. I believe grandma was originally from Alabama. So a couple of times a year they loaded the boys up and headed south. There were no interstates back then a long trip with two active boys in car. Through the years they took other friends with them and now there is a sizeable group who head to Alabama. (Spring breaks with parents taking their teenagers is big here). The boys and now men with wonderful families. Always enjoy pictures from their trips
I’ve been to Gulf Shores. I love the sand there. A lot different than California sand.
