Have you been to the Gilroy Garlic Festival? One time when I was still at UCLA, me girlfriend now wife borrowed her parent’s old van & drove to Pismo fo absolutely no reason. Just packed up the dog & started driving. Slept in the van. On the way back the Garlic Festival was going on & we stopped. The whole town smelled like garlic. Didn’t have much money but bought a couple bottles of wine from the local vineyards & som local grown olive stuffed with......,GARLIC.
We still reminisce about that trip & thank God the van didn’t break down!

I went to the garlic festival a few times. I miss all the festivals in California, especially the lamb festival.
