It was so awesome, I was as close as 15’ with no one in front of me, able to see him all the time.
We had 1900 in the main ball room and one of the secret service said there were 4 overflow rooms, don’t really know how many were watching.
It is no wonder that we are so polarized, went to the hotel restaurant after the President left and unfortunately CNN was playing. For 30 minutes it was BASH TRUMP coverage, REALLY, they don’t understand why their ratings are in the toilet.
I was so sick of watching this and the scroller on the bottom of the screen said it was full moon tonight - I was getting out of DC fast, bad enough on a “normal” day couldn’t imagine what DC would be like on a Full Moon night.
So glad to be safe at home.
