Rat Patrol and Combat were two of my favorite TV shows that I would watch on a regular basis as a kid. Twelve O’Clock High rings a bell too.
I loved to read WW2 novels in the library when I was around 12 years old. I always wondered what they did with them. They were historical gems. Many of the stories no doubt were life accounts.
