When I was very young I always said one of my goals was to write something that people would want to read. But, alas, that was not my forte. My career was in business. Although I had some small academic successes in literature, it wasn’t me.
Because I quit high school in the first month (8th grade graduate) I now write (partially) to teach myself the proper use of English. It’s trial by error, or akin to a musician lacking formal training, that is in other words- learning by “ear”.
I don’t think formal education was my forte’. LOL!
I like to DO stuff. ;0) But, I DO like to learn (interesting things).
Thankfully, there is spell check and grammar apps that correct our written blunders.
