Hi all. New thread in a day or two. Been a bit down emotionally past few weeks and just don’t want to be a thread downer so hesitate posting. LOVE LOVE LOVE all your sharing. I admit being behind and a bit confused with a lot of things. Ill be here at Jennys another week probably.

cooking here has been a real joy and distraction from problems.. she shares my passion for experiementing, healthy/quality food (that is of course subjective)..

I still have baby Bobbie the kitty(Rusty I believe inquired the other day).. she is still tiny but went into heat last week. It was funny with the old man resident (neutered) cat here trying to service her. Will have both her and Charmy spayed after Charmy weans her babies in a few weeks - if I have the $

No word from Medicaid yet and I am getting close to needing blood again. Until I am accepted I dare not have income show up in my account so even if I am permitted a 10/hrs week or so schedule with Medicaid AFTER — before is a no no. I need more $ to live on so am not too proud to work at Mc.Ds part time if I can keep my blood level high and pump in enough pain killer to minimize shingles neuralgia.

Isn’t it fun getting old? NOT...

I note many of you are getting bad weather again/still... spring storms can be rough..and to still be getting snow - well a real bummer

Cowboy Coffee

Bring water to a boil over campfire or camp stove.
Toss in ground coffee - 1 tbsp per cup of water, more or less to suit your taste.
Simmer ‘til it’s black enough.
Remove from heat and let grounds settle.
Carefully pour into cup or strain through a clean cloth or bandanna.

That was after our first TCMC shoot in Houston. We were at the Eaker house and we wanted to hold that big ol’ gun. Well, it took the two of us, it was soooo heavy!
