The most memorable Gleason show for me
was the night the turntable they had
the various sets on jammed. It took
a while to fix it, so Jackie had to
stand on stage and vamp the whole
time, puffing away at smokes and
sweating bullets.
He was Highly entertaining.
And an intellectual
The film Gigot is a lost classic, Gleason never utters a word in the entire film, yet he captivates.
